December 5th, 2016; Monday; 44 degrees, outside; 8:55P.M.; central Virginia

Monday, Mondays are the second day of every week right?  Well guess what today was very special at least to me.  You see today was a normal  day like most other days when oh, about 2:P.M. I thought it was time to take the trash out. Upon opening the back door I began to take my first steps Right foot then left. All of the sudden I looked to my left and just about 6 feet away sat the prettest grey kitten I think I ever seen.
I say, say think because a time about, less than 10 yrs. ago we had a grey kitten that looks so much like this kitten it is Hard to believe.  They could pass as twins. I thought I think our kitten has reincarnated. I gave it food, he gave it food all the while Belle was showing her jealous streak. She never once attempted to hurt this kitten. Belle is a kind animal.
I hope it stays its so pretty and un-like the orange one, this grey one allowed me to bend over and touch it. It looks like its about 1 yr..  If it stays what shall I name it? I know, if its here tomorrow I'll get pictures first chance I can, post them and may be you'll help me name it. It was so bony today I fed it canned alpo and he gave it the cat food that's hard, out of a bag.
     Are you ready for Christmas?
I'll say good night for now.
Sincerely, Linda G..

November 30th, 2016; wednesday; 11:12P.M.; 65 degrees outside; 76 degrees in here; central Va..

oh what a very nice day it has been. Today I got a ride and went into town, loaded up with food
I don't like to thought of getting low on anything and there be a storm on its way.  I buy stuff just so I feel assured that I will not run out. I have 10 cans of anything in there and still buy another one. It must be a phobia? what does it sound like to you?
When I got back from town today my tv had recorded survivorman and moonshiners, Primal Survivor, I really like these shows plus duel survivor, Life below zero, I really enjoy all those types of shows. What shows do you enjoy?? I can hear them now that I have a working hearing aid.
Yesterday I stood outside along my properity line and I thought what it would really be like just to take off with a pair of hiking boots, or mountain boots? I need to talk to someone that knows boots/shoes. What would it be like just to go? not to let anything or anyone stop me just go?
Could you do that? Right now it's raining, where do you think you would be sleeping tonight?
It's 11:25P.M. right now, dark was hours ago. Would you have prepared? Food?, water, extra clothes? Here's a big one a pot or pan to cook in.
What about your age? Does it matter to you how old you are out there? at what age is too old to be thinking about things like that?
I think I'll go lay down and think about this. Who knows one day I may just keep right on going.
Do you think you could do such a thing? Tell me your thoughts.
Sincerely, Linda G..

November 28th, 2016; Monday; 52degrees; 2:20P.M.; 74degrees in my bedroom..

Weather channel has been calling for rain what seems like forever. They claim it will hang around for 3 days.  Rainy days are ok with me as long as I don't need to go out in that mess.
I laid in bed until 11:A.M. today. Normally I'm up much earlier, don't know why I have been wanting to sleep so long, for days now. Really I do now or at least I think I know but I'm not ready to share it. Maybe my new hearing aids will come in today or get here soon. This one is ok, the battery does go dead sooner than I'd expect it to. But at least it works and I can hear.
Bell just came in. I mopped a bathroom floor. Need to go write Myrt. and Bill a letter. They are wonderful people live up in Minnesota, I'm proud to call them my aunt and uncle, my dads side. My Dad has a lot of Good family up north. North is nice especially in summer, I prefer south, the north was very good to me when I was up there a couple months ago, CTCA (Cancer Treatment Centers of America).
So far I've had a bowl of rice cereal and a glass of whey to eat. I feel good! I do need to go into town to buy myself food.
I have one of those colorama colored pencils with a book set. I did happen to pick it up last evening for a short period of time it was fun. Perhaps I'll do it again sometime.
Right now I'm sewing, working on a quilt and a messenger bag, I'm making it from scratch and decorating it along the way. It'll be really nice. Maybe Lisa would like to make herself one or have this one.
I'm going for now.
It would be nice to hear from you (No pun intended).

November 23rd, 2016; wednesday; 7:15P.M.; 42 degrees outside; 74 inside; Central, Virginia

Hello all, and I'm hoping you are having a nice holiday season. Tomorrow is Thanks Giving.
One of the hearing aides we (I) ordered came today. Guess what??? IT WORKS! I'm so happy! I have been in a silent world for some months now. The last time I was able to hear was when I went to talk to some lady around here she said she works for the city/state in helping people get hearing devices. Thank you God I no longer need nr want help from them. Actually I never did I just did not know where else to go.
This one is just fine so far! We had turkey, nuns puffs, mashed potatoes and stuffing so far that's all I have cooked. I'm cooking the skins off sweet potatoes now for sweet potato pies later.
how are you? my good on-line friends? Are you in good health? how's your job? your family? your friends? I'd like hearing from you. just send me email at my address.
The weather here (to me) is lovely. I'm absorbing it all over.  My dog Belle is laying out in the yard soaking up vitamin D. Won't be long before winter gets here, but then spring will be here to.
I received a letter from one of my aunts, lives up in Minnesota, she really likes the holidays she goes all out. Do you have family members like that? Are they THE BEST! They have to be the best family there ever could be. Always happy (t seems) always planning for the next holiday. How everything has to be just so. She is baking 5 pies this year because everyone brings pies etc..
I'm am grateful for those family members. Well, I'm grateful for all of them.
I have a aunt and uncle that have to be 95years each. They are the ones I'll miss the most.
I am so grateful that this hearing aid works!
Anyway I do hope to hear from you.    Your online friend Linda G..

November 10th, 2016; thursday;10:17P.M.;23901

" cook wear? Oh well, now we are equal, I know who the election and so do you.
It was a good day, even though I've been having off days for a while now.
I was sick almost all night. Rickey came in here about, not sure. Upon awaking this morning I started vomiting, not a lot but enough.
I asked him today if he will help me fix my big camper up. It doesn't need t lost of work but I'd like to get it so I can live in it. Even if I don't take it off driving any where.
So how did Trump do as a president? Do you know why the put the letter "I" in the middle of the word president  very good day.t? It because the office needs some spice.  Ha Ha=Just a silly joke.
Tomorrow will be. I've been thinking serious for a few days ago or so now. If I can't get out of this rats nest and in to my camper. You know somewhere nice, clean, warm in the winter and cool in the heat. You know it may sound like I've lost my mind and some may think I have  But I have half a mind to walk right out that back door and keep going. I get where I'm  going. I am HEALTHY, I am HAPPY, I am STRONG Physically and mentally, I am wealthy, I am strong, I enjoy smiling at people and people enjoy smiling me all the time. At least I did while I was at CTCA. I was happy there. What happened? I was able to read, write, enjoy just being. I enjoyed walking around and do a little shopping here and there even thought it wasn't very expensive stuff. Just walking out the back door and head straight to the woods. There's nothing back there except dirt and knocked over trees. It would be fun just to see what's back there. Who knows, maybe a pile of rocks or an old watering hole. Maybe the perfect place to pitch a tent? I'd be will to bet rabbits are back there. Snakes should be in by now due to 2 mornings of frost down into the 40- 50's. I'd like to put some heavy shoes on and head on back there. I always have wondered what's back there. A lot of land back there I can say that much. I can tell you this it starts over here on our right facing the back of the land, there some where back there if turns off to the left. I've seen it go around the peoples homes, the trees are knocked down, shaved right off naked off to the earth. Then turn around facing the left there are more trees all gone but a much larger patch. It goes around the house (s) it just totally wiped down every thing. In a much, much larger area. I'd like to head on back there and check it all out to.. Seems like the U.S. never learns, I know you don't remember the dust bowl I think it was in the 1920 or 1930's I'm not sure.    I would like to know why they are tearing up these lovely trees?
Then would I plan on a camp site? Would I plan on staying the evening, watching the starts?  Didn't I plan on anything: food, water, blankets, do I cook, did I decide on the tent or not? Such a lot of small decisions. But seems that I made my decision when I decided to walk out the back door not drive the van. The van may have been smarter. I would have had a bed, heat, hopefully gas ac if its warm out there. I would have radio, extra lucky a tv. lights after dark. A way to stay out of rain, snow, sun. I'm thinking of all the things, You know Pros and Cons. A van (Vehicle) could save us from wild animals.
Sounds like we have a good bit a ground covered.  I am a Healthy, happy, healthy, happy, wealthy, wealthy, (I know I'm messing around doubling everything.) God is so good to me! God has always been so good to me.
I   am going to go lay down now.
With all of my positive thought and prayers. I love you!!!! Love Linda

November 4th, 2016; Friday; 2:35A.M.;59degrees outside;79degrees in my bedroom; Central Virginia some wheres.

I am really LOVING this long summer weather. It wouldn't bother me if it lasted all fall and through the winter.
Well, I went to CTCA ( Cancer Treatment Centers of America). I was up there for 1 week the first time then 7 weeks the second time.
It is a beautiful place and its full of beautiful people that well, some work there some are patients there. I made friends in every section of the hospital.
Honestly while I was there the radiation (Everyday) I had treatments but the Chemotherapy I had 3 treatments. The only days I didn't get a radiation treatment was on weekends and I was up there Labor Day, thy were closed. The cafeteria was open nearly all the time.
I must admit the CTCA try to keep the place up-beat every Friday they have keroke, anyone welcomed and once a  week there is a singer in the dining area- normally on Friday evening about 7P.M... Yes, the karoke was there faithfully Fridays at 1P.M..
Those times I miss for sure! I enjoyed going on over to CTCA and just being there with the people. Some of them I'd see a lot others they just seem to come and go. The first time I (we) was there Rickey went with me we went by plane. American Airlines.
May I be allowed to say this one thing...I don't like flying! I do not like it! Not one thing about flying did I enjoy! From the time I arrived at the airport to the time I got off the airport in the up-coming state.. I dis-liked, very strongly! I hope never to have to fly again.
The hotels I stayed in were nice. I liked all the people I met. I can honestly say that I really Like (with a capital) "L" Like the people up North! most of the people I met up north are beautiful, wonderful people!
When Rickey and I were up there the first time to visit the CTCA campus We stayed (Free) in Hotel Guest Quarters North. It was nice. I really enjoyed it because it was so clean, the people very friendly.
This past time (my second visit) I was up there alone. I didn't mind it was nice, I thought. I was residing in Hotel Guest Quarters West. I was there for 1 month I think. Then for some reason everyone in the hotel was asked to move to one of their other hotels. I was offered my choice between 3 other hotels. All of them lovely and very clean. Wish I could have visited the 2 newest hotels they are now using.
I fell in love with this town and the people there. No Joke! It is a town like you'd see in a movie. Like a Disney, or made of Disney movie. So many parks. I've never seen so many parks in one town in my life. Honestly I have thought about moving there to live.  I'd like to buy a small piece of land 1 or 2 acres, just big enough for me a horse or 2, a small garden, and a dog. I'll move my camper up there get someone here to fix it or help me to fix it up.
That will give me shelter. Maybe I can find someone (I can pay) to drive me and the camper up there and park in on my new bought land.
I guess you are wondering which small town I am refereeing to? Ok if you really want to know, Zion.  Zion, Illinois 60099. See I like the place so much I even remembered the zip code.
I still believe Farmville and surrounding areas to the best weather us on down to Florida.
I apologize to all the people at CTCA. Radiation took my hearing and my vocal cords. I am working on buying a hearing aid now. November 14th, 2016 at 9A.M. I have an app. with a hearing aid doctor. I've never had anything like this before, so maybe they will be kind and gentle. When I was a little kid I got a staple in one of my fingers and every since then my jaws want to try to act-up on me. But I stop it by working with it. Seems like satan has been trying to put an end to my days every since I was a small child.
It's a long night. I'd like to get some sewing or something under my belt for one morning.
Thank you to everyone at CTCA in Zion, Illinois 60099. Thank you for everything you did to help me while I was there. Many people there went out of their way to help me. I'm serious. I owe them all a special "Thank You!"
I hope to see you all on my next visit trip for a check up.
            I want to say thanks,
                     Linda G..

July 19th, 2016; tuesday; 8:26P.M.; 60099

Its been a long day. We walked over to the hospital early this fine day. Sun was shinning, birds were singing. This seems to be in a business disctrict because I haven't seen many buildings that look like homes nor have I saw school busses or children/pets.
Zion is a very nice town, seems like there is a park every where I go, how much nicer can it get? they make it so easy for people to get out and walk exercise. Something I need and have needed for a long time. Not only a park next to me seems I'm centrally located, businesses everywhere. Back home I have to drive 20 miles to get to the nearest store, even small store. Parks at home, 23901, one has to drive a solid 21-22 miles. By the time one drives to a park you forget why you went there.
I like it up here, up north of me :) wonder how it is in the winter? I understand it snows all winter long.
I want to say thanks to everyone up here. I've met a lot of people up here ( no one knows who I am.) if we meet walking through one of your lovely parks or at the airport I say hello to you now because  chances are we will not chat any other place. So "HI" to my online friends and family.
your friend Linda G..

July 15th, 2016; 9:20P.M.; Friday; 82 degrees outside; 23901

Hello there,
these past couple of weeks have been strange, not just in strange in feeling seems I've seen a change, all around me. Physically and mentally I'm not sure how to explain it.
Anyway today I spent mowing, first I mowed the outside of the fence then I spent the next couple hours mowing the inside of the fence. Going around my (Wild) Jerusalem Artichoke, or some call them Sun Chokes you know these very pretty tubers that are yellow with brown centers. Did you know they are kin to the Sun Flowers? Yes and they are wild and free...tubers. Sun Flowers aren't tubers you are aware they come from seeds. I apologize about my typing today, day after tomorrow, Sunday, I'll be on a flight heading to Zion, Illinois. Nervous, yea a little. I know you are praying for me? Right? Thank you and I sincerely thank you. I know you don't know me but who Cares? I can still pray for you don't need to know your name God does!
Just send me your prayer needs, no problem.
Anyway, Jerusalem Artichokes, sun chokes put energy into spreading via tuberous roots instead.  The whole plant is rough-hairy, with a single, stout, erect stalk 6 to 12 feet tall,  into the wild.
branching toward the top.
Slender,  lance-shaped to oval, three-ribbed, lightly toothed, pointed long-stalked leaves grow along the stem.  They're 6 to 10 inches long and 2 to 4 inches wide, broadest near the base- alternate toward the top of the plant, opposite near the bottom.
Each plant has several flower heads, 2 to 3.5 inches broad, that look more like overgrown daisy flower heads than reduced sunflower heads. Each has twelve to twenty yellow rays emerging from a yellow, central disk.
This colonial perennial spreads via rhizomes and tubers instead of seeds. It stores food in tubers, identical to commercial Jerusalem artichokes. These lumpy, beige vegetables are the size of small potatoes, with crisp, white flesh inside.
The plant is easiest to identify in the summer, when it's flowering.  It's harder to identify in the winter, when the tubers resemble bulbs, like those of the poisonous iris.  However, bulbs are layered, tubers are solid.
Jerusalem artichokes grow in poor, light soil, but not where there's excessive wetness.  Look for them along roadsides, in fields, thickets, waste places, near streams, ponds, railways, and highways. They're native to the Great Plains, but Indians planted them in other regions, so you sometimes find them on the East Coast, and west up to the Rocky Mountains.  They're also cultivated for food, and often escape into the wild.
In Italian the plant is called girasole articiocco.  Girasole refers to the way that the plant turns to face the sun, and this word was corrupted to "Jerusalem."  Articiocco is Italian for "artichoke," but the reason for naming it artichoke is unclear- the plants are unrelated and dissimilar.
The tubers are best from late fall to the early spring.  You can dig them up anytime the ground isn't frozen.  Raw, they're light and sweet, more like water chestnuts than potatoes.  They're also great baked in their skins.  In general, you can cook them any way you would cook potatoes.  However, they don't fry crispy like potatoes, and they become creamy when mashed.
They have fewer calories than potatoes, and they're especially high in vitamin A and B-complex, potassium and phosphorus.  They contain insulin instead of starch, which makes them very good for diabetics and hypoglycemic.
I'm a hoping you enjoyed this. I couldn't get to my information about the Jerusalem artichoke-  sun choke, had to take an opportunity to LEARN!  If you know more will you lease share it with me/us??
I  sincerely thank you, Linda G..

Good Tuesday morning to you, my google+ friends and family,
looks like its getting ready to rain in this small 23901 (Virginia) area. Sky is growing darker by the minutes ticking bye.  My beagle Belle went outside.
Yesterday we rode into town to bye meds and food I was able to purchase myself some new clothes. I have been awake sense 6:A.M. this morning, its still early.
I'll be back in a little while unless the rain strikes with a force and knocks out the power. In such a case I'll be here when I can.
I sure hope to hear from you. How are you? What are you doing?
Sincerely, Linda G..

July 6th, 2016; Wednesday; 9:59 P.M.; 73 degrees outside; 83 degrees in my bedroom; 23901

Oh what a beautiful day it is. Today are two very special birthdates, My oldest sister-in-law Lois was born on this day many years ago but she is a beautiful woman and has several grown children that has children. Then we have my Uncle Bill whom I love with all of my heart (And his wife Myrtlene) we know her as Myrt. Beautiful woman, she is beyond any woman I've ever met in my life> You just have to meet her. She goes up and over beyond with anyone else has ever done. I'm PROUD that are my Uncle and Aunt. Let me get back to subject, birthdates Bill will be 95 years today...Now tell me would you like to live to be in  very good health?? I'd like to be as healthy as he when I turn 95 years. He still works his gardens, one of his sons Randy helps him everyday in everyway he can. God bless you Randy. If I had any sense I would have thought about moving there. Where my Dad was born and raised... Minnesota. Not exactly sure where in Minnesota, though I do remember Sauk Rapids being in the ball park of places he would have lived.
I'm told a wild story about my granddad, No, I never met him, my loss I know. Him and my dads mother traveled all over Canada and our majestic United States of America. Many of their children were born  in both Canada and U.S. Not sure how many siblings either of my parents have.
Oh yes, Birthdays, I do apologize, please forgive me.
My aunt Myrt. and their Big family are throwing Bill a party in a hall. They were looking to rent a large room for it. That's about all she has clued me in, you know her letters. I have enjoyed writing back and forth with Myrt. and Bill, Rickey and I. You see Bill and Rickey are our silent partners, they are the two that get to relax drink coffee and listen to what it is we are writing about. I am not afraid of dying. Its my loved ones: Brandy M., Lisa A. Tanya (sissy) M. and Rickey C..       They are the ones I am concerned about. I love them. They all four (4) know our Heavenly Father that doesn't worry my at all. You know they are all 4 going to be ok! God loves us all even you my friend (reading this).
I hope this is turning out to be a good day for you. Pray for me and I'll keep praying for you.
Please keep coming back. If you don't see me on here for 7 days straight then I've gone home. If I for see any reason why I cannot be here for 7 days straight I will tell you.
You are my friend at least that's the way I look at it. I care about how you are feeling, how you are thinking, so why don't you take time and pour your heart out to me. We can chat/ text/email which ever you'd like.
I'm Linda G. Jehoich_lilley
Please just call my Linda.

More of July 3rd, 2016; Sunday; 69 Degrees outside my window; 76 inside my bedroom; 23901.

I woke up right at 10:a.m. this morning. I was just outside walking around my yard, its been raining almost all night the grass is what I like to call "SuperWet", you know the kind of wetness that soaks you leather tennis shoes. Rickey (was actually the one the one that got me out of this room) , Belle and myself were outside together. Our apple trees look GREAT! so many beautiful Gaga Apples. Yep! I'm Linda Gala so I dub this tree "The Great Gala Tree" :)  . Rickey and I came in Belle stayed out there to roam the woods for rabbits.
Ive been cutting out a pattern most all morning. Its my own pattern. I'm working my skills to sew myself a blouse (poppy  print.) BBL: :)  1:55P.M..  This is a sad and lone some place. I hate the whole 23901 zip code. Its dreary, no one here speaks to the next one, no one waves nor cracks a smile. A dried up old place, reminds me of desserts or being stranded out in the literal - middle of any ocean on this planet. I need positive thoughts pumping into my mind, my brain. BBL:  2:01P.M. People come here (23901) to die. They literally pick themselves up pack what they have to their names into a vehicle they've rented for a few hours and transplant themselves into a place, a place of no return. You may not ever be able to escape this place, its a black hole, it will suck the life out of you. Do yourselves a favor Don't come here to live, come here sight see shake the dirt/dust off your clothes and LEAVE this 23901 area. BBL:   2:07P.M. I wish I knew someone that would get me out of here= Literally , physically. I want to hike and camp the world but I do want to start in the U.S. my plan would be to get to Va. Beach, Va. and just walk/hike/camp head north in the summer and south in the winter and just keep going around and around making decisions as I go. Like which road(s) will I take where will I eat, sleep etc. I'll decide on that as I get to it. I have things I need to go do so please excuse me. I would like your feed back. Please be honest but not so honest it hurts. I've had enough of that for one life time. Sincerely, Linda G. Jehoich-Lilley
(This is an experiment, I will know by intuition should it be carried forward.)

July 3rd, 2016; Sunday; 4:29A.M.; 68 degrees outside; 77 inside my bedroom; 23901.

Hello, I am hoping that you are remembering me (?). I'm Linda G. Jehoich-Lilley. I haven't been here in sometime now and feel as if I'm ready to get back in touch with my blogger friends and family.
First of all, Please, (I mean this sincerely) How Are You?
Perhaps you remember I told you several doctors had told me I had throat cancer? Well, sense I didn't have a cancer doctor my family doctors quit on me one by one. They would stay with me long enough to get to know me then quit. Last Thursday I mentioned to my youngest daughter (Tanya) sissy that I was interested in Cancer treatment centers of America and BOOM! she had me on hold and them on the other line. I was so scared all these years and no one would step up and help me. I know it sounds like I'm a child, Yes, I more than likely am. I don't know if I want to die, pass on at such a young age.
Cancer Treatment Center of America out of Zion, Illinois sent me 4 pages of paper work to fill out and fax back to them- so I did with help from Rickey (my husband). Now the waiting begins. Its a holiday for all of us.
Please allow me to be honest with you, please allow me to talk openly and honestly with you. If you feel that you want or need to step in please don't hesitate. Jump in with both feet. Please be careful (gentle) with me though I am at a sensitive stage in my life and feel lost.
Yesterday I visited face book where someone had posted a pic. of a poster of Jesus Christ with his out stretched hand  it said something like "Let me guide you". I could have broken down in tears. That's all I've ever wanted in my life.
All day long I dwelled upon that pic. then I remembered in the Holy Bible it said  Pray Non-Ceasing.
So I've been learning how to pray non-ceasing. What do I do now???
This knot on/inside my neck has grown. That's not the point though. I'm not sure what I should do if I should do anything at all?
If it were you what would you do? un-fair question? Yes, I know. I feel as if its un-fair myself. I ask God for help and now I'm not sure. I want to live yet, I don't want half a face / head. How can I walk the streets as I go in Walmart to do my regular shopping with half a face or head? I'm praying that when I arrive at the C. T. C. of America that things will not be as bad as I'm thinking?
C.T.C. of America (Cancer treatment centers of America).
If you have any advice or if you know anyone that does have advice or first hand knowledge please have them contact me, if they wouldn't mind doing so. I would prefere email or texting though.
I've missed  you all so very much! would enjoy writing and keeping in touch.
If God continues holding the door open for me to walk through I'll be leaving here around July 6th, 2016 Don't have any idea when I'll be back. I hate to admit to it but who knows if I'll be back? You see that's in Gods out stretched hands as well.  Please Pray for me. I will pray for you anytime just fill me in on details, as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
I 'll be around no matter what. I'll be talking to u a little later this afternoon.
                                                       Linda G. Jehoich-Lilley
