Petro

As long as we need to use it use it wisely. Fuel economy is more than altering driving techniques. When you fill-up affects your consumption and saves you money:
In Hot weather fill up in the coolest part of the day, early mornings or later in the evenings. Gasoline expands with heat. An increse of 30 degree can cause 10 gallons of gas to expand by as much as 4/5's of a quart. Expanding in the heat and contracting when the temperature drops.
Don't overfill your tank(s). Don't be tempted to put more in when the hose clicks off. Gas evaporates in the heat.
Make sure the gas cap fits tightly, going up and down hills you are taking the chance for gas to run out onto the pavement. Gas weakens the asphalt until it dissolves same with driveways and parking lots, not to mention the job it does to the paint on your auto.. One day we may not need to use petro in our vechiles but for now we can all do a little something extra and help out ourselfs and help slow down air pollution. Linda G..

Dreams

July14th,2010,wednesday,11:15P.M.,72degrees
I was up most of last night. Slept today. Do you believe in dreams? I dreamed about having the cash and purchasing my own home. an older house, single level, in need of a paint job. Some how when I got up I physically and mentally felt a little better. As if I had dreamed the answer to a problem. What do you dream about? I have had re-occuring nightmares for so many years I don't like to sleep much. Do you have re-occuring dreams? Dreams interest me, what about you? How do you feel when you wake up? Write and let me know. Linda G..

A letter to all of Louisville, Kentucky-7-13-2010

I am the mother of two girls. Their father skipped out on us years ago, year to date he owes over 100,000 dollars. He has never sent a Birthday card, a Christmas card, not even one phone call. He left right after the youngest was born, because she was and still is and always will be sick. My older one is in college trying to fullfill her dream of becoming a school teacher. He is there in your city. His name is Jackson Lee Sowers,Sr. Actually he lives in one of your nearby countys. I wrote to your Governor, he claimed that the statute of limitations is up? Makes no sense, raising children is a life long job, there should never be a time limitation. He has not always been in Louisville he has moved about ducking us. He was found on the internet. Can you beleive he was in our military? not to worry there was no war then or the ARMY would have had him long before Me AWOL. He is from Mullens, West Virginia. I understand he has one of his brothers (Same last name as he does) living there next to him. If you happen to run into him you can pat him on the back and say "Good Job" or ask him for me why he has never paid my girls the money the judge told him to pay so many years ago. He is not the kind you want your loved ones around, I know him and can tell you so many truthful things, just keep an eye open for the ones you really care about. If you have any advice please contact me- "I thank You!" LindaG..

Olive Oil

Olive Oil has been cultivated for over 3,000 years in the Mediterranean countries, where much of the Olive crop is used to make Olive Oil. Use only olive oil that os labeled "extra virgin." Extra virgin olive oil has been cold-pressed from freshly harvested olives and does not contain chemicals. The name alone implies purity. Extra virgin olive oil supplies the best flavor , it is golden yellow in color. Green colored olive oil is of lesser quality.
Olive Oil will help your nails become stronger and more resistant to breaking and chipping. Heres how:
Before bed, soak nails in a combination of luke warm water , olive oil and lemon juice. Put on a pair of soft cloth gloves and let soak into nails over night. You will have stronger finger nails and soft cuticles.
Olive Oil helps to lower the LDL (Bad) cholesterol levels without affecting the HDL (Good) cholesterol ot triglyceride levels due to the 77 percent monounsaturated fatty acids. When ever possible use Olive Oil instead of butter or other vegetable oils.
At least 15 percent of your daily calories should come from monounsaturated fatty acids.
Taken internally, it stimulates your metabolism, promotes digestion and lubricates musous membranes. Applied extrenally is good for dry skin.
Olive Oil is made up of 77 percent monounsaturated fatty acids, 14 percent saturated fatty acids, and 9 percent polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and vegetable mucilage.

Take 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil on an empty stomach to stimulate digestion and relieve upset stomach, flatulence and heartburn.
In the morning, take 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil mixed with lemon juice on an empty stomach. Or make a 5 oz. enema. Use 20 oz. of boiling water that has been allowed to cool to room temperature or luke warm.
The vitamin E in Olive Oil is an antioxident. The oxygen that affects other oils does not affect olive oil, so it is less likely to produre free radicals, which damage cell membranes and contribute to diseases.
Olive Oil is good for some ear problems such as stopped-up-ears. Simply put a few drops of luke warm olive oil in the affected ear. Lie for 5 minutes on the oppisite side, then turn over, so that the oil can run back out. NEVER PUT ANY LIQUID IN EAR IF YOU EVEN THINK YOU MAY HAVE A PERFORATED EAR DRUM!.
For ear aches soak a cotton ball in olive oil add a few drops of lavendar oil. Place it in the outter part of your ear until the pain goes away.
Olive Oil is good in preventing hair loss, massage olive oil into your scalp everyday for a week wash it out in the mornings.
Applied daily to dry skin, dry spots, or stretch marks.
